• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My Build

lobe sep. is 114 ..it's a pretty nice sounding cam..cell video's really don't do the sound any justice it sounds 100x better in person and will sound even better once i take care of a small exhaust leak i have

Looks clean bro, when i get more funding ill be doing a new build Cam & intercooler and maybe some forged pistons drop the pulley size.

Forged pistons? lol Why?

Mine's just a little bigger on the intake side...good call jeeves...hopefully it isn't your DD LOL

x2 the stock ones are more then enough save yourself some money, just scrub the carbon off the top of your stockers and you'll be good to go

Thanks man, sadly right now it is, i am shopping for a POS DD right now actually I only drive about 20 miles a day to and from work and i only work spring-Fall so pretty soon it'll just be sitting in the garage anyways and the gf's car will get me around in the winter if i need to go anywhere

As long as the ring gap was set correctly and you're running a good tune the stockers are just fine. Spend the money elsewhere.

Ring Gap is is they word if you don't gap them enough you have a pretty good possibility of popping a piston.

Quick Update successful just passed my emissions and safety inspection today finally get to get new tags w00t w00t and the engine now has 50 miles on it and everything seems to be pretty solid, only one thing i am having problems with is my TOG's are vibrating against the sway bar, someone told me flipping the sway bar will fix that problem maybe i'll give it a try this weekend and see what happens

yeah but if i was putting in the forged pistons it would be when i put the Cam, 2.8 and intercooler in as well as the set up i already have

so the money already went to the good stuff!

you don't plan on running a 2.8 on first start up do ya? ...right now i am even nervous just running the 3.4 during the break in, just went back to 93 during all this also not sure if i'll go back to e85 again or not

drive it with no belt then :th_laugh-lol2: god these cars are gutless without the blower, i even have headers and exhaust work done and the car was gutless without the belt, Poor GT owners :th_laugh-lol3:

a GT is much better to drive than a GTP without a belt. the compression ratio and the gear ratio make it bearable.
