• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My 98 GP SE and what ive done to it

If it has a blown motor and a bad tranny you need to make a proper project out of it.

LS1 / T56 swap.

Beast mode GO!

All you'll see is the back, and smoke from the tires, its a vette, that's all that matters hahaha

But ya, not much love for the C4s but with some work I can respect them.

i dont know, dont really want another project, who knows what i would do if i have it apart.

but who wants to come over and change my LIM gasket???

why whats so hard about a 3100???

oh and while i have the valve covers and intake off i need to paint

any color ideas - what white and what blue?????

On a 3800 you don't have to pull the valve covers off or mess with the valve train at all. It's about a 2 hour job taking your time. On a 31/3400 you have to pull have the damn motor apart to do it and the pushrods are different lengths and the ps pump bolts are a pain and other stuff i could endlessly ramble about lol

ok , going to paint the valve covers and intake white, with blue accents, too much blue under hood right now - need more white

it would be something like this

The white would look good under the hood just harder to keep clean though. Paint the uim all white and use a wire brush to take the paint off the lines and words so it looks polished there.

$5.00 says you'd paint something blue. lol

The white on blue on the cover isn't bad. I can dig it.

but you need a L67 conversion, if the gaskets are blow just buy a replacement, paint it blue, drop it in and be supa blu sleepa

the valve cover gaskets are blue, i bought them yesterday with the lim gaskets, and just ordered NGK Lasaser iridium plugs and wires.

Ok the parts i have now are
- UIM
- LIM
- Valve cover gasket and gromets
- NGK wires
- LIM bolts
- 2 gallons antifreeze
- syn oil
- fram extra gaurd filter

going to pic up
- thermostat + gasket
- belt

do i need anything else????????

Oh here are pics - the iridiums are wrong - taking back.

You got the wrong gaskets you need the metal ones not plastic or you'll be doing this again in a year or less. And use plenty of locktite on the bolts for the lim
