i dont have a fast car, so i was surprised to see i took down a foxbody mustang. well were on this two lane road and i catch up to this mustang. not eggin him on for a race or driving like a douche or anything. about a minute later, the light up ahead turns red and were the only people on the road, so we pull up to the light and give the nod. well the light turned green and he took me from the line but i wound up reeling him in and i had about a car length on him before the next light. unfortunately he didnt tell me anything about his car, as we both stopped at the second light i complimented him on his car but he ignored me as he drove off haha
 


Depending on the Foxbody there are 3 options for motors typically
Turbo 4banger, tiny pos v6, and the dreaded 5.0 :th_laugh-lol2:

all of which are terribly underpowered stock. If it was someone that thought they have a "powerhouse" sports car because its a mustang, they deserved the kill... good job

I didn't know the fox bodies had a v6, but they came with a na 2.3L as well which is super underpowered but everyone of them i've seen thinks it super fast because it's a mustang.
 
i have a stock 95 se. which is why im surprised. if it was a 5.0 i definitely would have lost so i guess that rules that out.
 


Not really...if it was an old enough 5.0...and it wasn't modded those carb'd ones were dog sh1t slow. 16 second cars no doubt.
 
I lined up with a fox body mustang V8 against my Bonny with the 3800, he lost............did it again.........he lost. Bonny is stock, mustang was loud, dont know anything else about it.
 
1983 mustang gt 5.0=180 hp and 240 trq... but they get more hp untill every few years untill 1993 when they reach 235hp or so, so if he was 5 speed 5.0l doesnt matter if it was 180 hp, cause its lighter and being standard he would of tooken you...slowly lol.(you have 3.1L right?) probably a v6 stang. if it was a 4 cylinder you would of put bus lengths on lol.

yeah i was thinking it was either a v6 or a really early 80's 5.0 with a bad driver because he did take me off the line
