Yes I understand its been discussed literally a 100 times probably,I want a 100% answer,I'm getting a Montana and I want to put the l67 in it,if the 3.8 sc bolts right in the grand prixs it should the Montana right?,I know I need the PCM and harness, what else do I need, can I keep the fuel pump that was with the 3.4 or do I need the 2 speed if so how will it wire up,I want to do it,I'd like a 2000 or up since it has that updated speedo, can I get a exact answer what I need and what to do,I know it works it's been done, thanks

Does a subframe just bolt in or does it got to be welded, how much of the harness do I need,so a gtp subframe will go right into the Montana?

How come the regals wiring harness is different than the grand prixs?,when I do splice will it be pretty much colors to colors? or do I need a diagram?

Ok that's good, probably would have to take the front end off the mini van to get the motor in,I'm def going to do it,probably start this winter,so basically all the cars with the 3.8 sc subframe will work?

On the 96 Grand Prix they started obd 2,would it be the same deal with it,swap subframes,96 would be easier to wire up probably not to sure lol since it's obd2

Yeah I actually got steel braided fuel lines out of a 3800 powered lumina van. You deff don't want to cut the harness and try to match color to color. Many wire share the same color with just minor dots to differ and can share the same ground color. Deff done want to cross the wires. You will need to get the c100 pin outs and PCM pin outs for the donor car and the car it's going into and match wire for wire. On my swap from the 96 DOHC to the 98 L36 there was one ground wire I had to add and one or two I removed. And these were both z34montes. So they were dry close. The pump should be ok. If your installing the l36 the it is set for a single speed pump anyway. At least on my z for 98 they are single speed. If not it can be changed in tiny tuner. Other things I had to address were: ac lines but mine worked, power steering lines, throttle cables were diff, fuel lines. I think that was about it. If you are going to mod the car you might as well do what you can to get headers installed if they can fit.

Oh ok thanks,it dosent sound to bad, just to verify when you say out your talking about the male ends or female?how would I wire up a 2 speed pump like its suppose to in the relay/fuse box under the hood?
