really? i went to replace mine a few months back and the old one looked all but 30 second old and it was original gm...thats why i figured it was unfuntional...so, how do i put the exteranl inthey are all blocked off at the top of the blower with that plate, but that doesnt mean they arent doing anything.
See, this is what happens when you have someone like Parker selling a product he knows nothing about. I informed him several times that pcv function was not available on this core and yet he obviously didnt do his job by informing the customer of that, or even putting it in the details on his website. I dont feel as i am liable for this, as it was brought forth from square 1. The core works fine obviously, he had it hooked up and working no problems. I would love to help him out by sending him a new one, i just dont have the money to be eating an intercooler like that. External pcv's are used on many cars and are not that hard to do at all.
Then make the guy an external PCV so it works like you promised it would. If your so good at custom fabbing things then it shouldn't be a problem right? That's like selling a set of rockers to someone and telling them they have to make the pedestals.
oh my god this guy is a genious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here's a suggestion. Have bbptech send the core to Douglas since he doesnt want it. Refund bbptech. Douglas will have his intercooler, bbptech will have his money back. You said you are almost finished with Douglas's intercooler so you can ship that one to the next guy in line waiting. Makes sense to me.
Parker failed to inform Colin that pcv function was not available on this core.
still waiting for someone to tell me how to run an external pcv
Yeah because everyone has a plasma cutter and a welder.
Try this for a cheap fix...it is supposed to be for a Honda, but it should work on any application IMO.

This is where you're failing. If you see that something is amiss in any type of information to your product, tell the customer along with whoever is dealing your parts. Just putting the blame on Parker here isn't cutting it. Colin's well aware of the PCV not being functional, so help him over come it instead of this pissing match you are in with him. Did you have a chat with Colin about this when YOU designed this bigger core? I would figure that you have instead of just telling TDC that he may not use his factory PCV system.
Be responsible with your products, and if you see a discrepancy in the description, then address the issue before you mail it out. Make sure the guy buying your stuff knows how to avoid the problems that are obviously the result of poor planning and communication.
I honestly would love to see these threads gone, but they won't go away by themselves, the problems need to be fixed and promptly.
