• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Bought my 98 GTP December 08 for $1200 with just over 100000 miles on it. Needed an e-brake cable for safety. oh and a washer fluid pump. and the radio didnt work at all, so i got one out of a wrecked gp. Since then, ive put a new s/c coupler in, new brakes all around, new struts/springs/mounts in the back, sway bars, front wheel bearings, a battery, a starter, an alternator, valve cover gaskets, new belts, an ignition coil, new plugs/wires, a bunch of little interior crap, welded the exhaust up when it broke right after the cat, new tail lights. I still need to fix the oil leak, and do my lim gaskets, and flush my coolant. I plan to keep the car for a while and just fix everything as it breaks.

Bought our 97 GTP on Jan 3 of 98 with 11,000 Miles on the odo ($18,500 and has every option but antenna in the rear window). Now has 147,000 of very enjoyable miles. 2nd highest mileage car I have ever owned ( the first place goes to.... 65 Dodge Dart GT vert - 285,000 miles!) and I plan on keeping this car going at least that long or buy another one and swap all my goodies over. I like this car that much.

My friend has a 98 GTP has 234K on it. All original drivetrain and doesnt leak a drop of anything. Only work done was LIM gasket (Done at 199K for the first time) and we just did Lower control arms, Struts, and tierod ends last week. Only other work are the usual. Brakes, Battery, and an Alternator.
He beats the crap out of it daily. Its never had the SC rebuilt (coupler is getting bad). It runs perfect. I agree, its all in how you take care of your car and most cars can get well over 200K these days. I had a 1993 grand am that I got 280k out of before I sold it..all original drivetrain as well.

best purchase i have ever made.

97 gt 2d with (zzp csc, novi1000, fmic) bought in 7/08 for 4,700$ 84,000m on the clock.
miles now r 97,000

2002 GTP with 88k for 7500 out the door. When I went to the dealership i was looking at an 04, but got talking to an old lady about buying a new car, and she pointed to her car, now my car, and said that they weren't giving her crap for it as a trade, so I bought it from her, in front of the dealership. It was always serviced at the dealer, Immaculate, and she was the only person to drive it.

i bought my 99se in December 05...cant remember for sure, maybe $8k with 58000 miles. had to surrender it to the ex during divorce proceedings. poor thing was rode hard and put away wet daily. she didnt ever service it for 15 months, and drove it out of fuel at least weekly. when i got it back, i drove a half mile to the gas station. put in 17.6 gallons of fuel, a gallon of antifreeze, a pint of power steering fluid, a gallon of washer fluid, all four tires were under 20psi, and 5 quarts of transmission fluid. it also took 5 gallons of "simple green" and 4 hours of steam cleaning to suck all of the cappucino out of the upholstery (carpets and seats). i babied it for a whole year until i could afford to work on it. $1400 later (new axle shafts, new brakes, new rims, new tires, EGR, plugs, wires, hoses) i am averaging 30mpg and a personal best of 37+ highway. it has 153000 on the motor and tranny today.
I bought an 02gt december 09 for $2200. it has been too cold to spend any time working on it yet, but the weather is changing. it has 143000 and is getting 21-24 mpg before any work. I was offered $3000 the day i drove it home.

01 gp gt 2dr special edition

flawless condition when i bought it in march 07 with 71k.

asking $10,000 paid $7990 (in cash).

currently has 118k, only thing to break besides speakers is the a/c. fixing it next month.

'97 GTP Bought it for $600(yes six hundred) march 13th last year.It had 97k on it(now 112K)

Issues:(ie:reasons it was 600)
-tie rods bent(one snapped)
-no interior except gauge cluster, HUD , DIC and a drivers seat
-Both belt tensioners needed replaced
-needed new brake rotors and calipers
-horrible $300 paint job
-damaged power steering pump
oh and the best part was the kid who had it drilled holes in the muffler to try and improve the sound

Ive got the basics of an interior along and everything is fixed except the Power steering pump. all in all it cost me 600 for the car plus 4100 for parts
