• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

might get rims

going to be test fitting them soon, if i notice i wont be keeping them cause i agree that would look "janky" lol specially on a fwd

yes you will. since the width and offset is different both front and back.

Best thing to do is test fit them and see how you like them and go from there. Worse case scenario they are free so you won't be losing anything but effort if you decide you hate them

Looked at my brothers car and saw how much they stick out I am also thinking 9.5'' is too much, but will try one side on just to see how goofy it can look whenever we get a nice day, will take pics.

you could run 9.5" wide wheels if you wanted to stretch, pull, and tuck.

but since you're not, it won't look good and it'll look all mexi'd out.

ya dont think i would go that far. im 90% sure im not doing it but want to try and take some pics just for ****s and giggles

the people that argue about it are the ones that don't know a god damn thing about measuring things or physics. that's the issue.

back rims were rubbing didnt even lower it down didnt want to dmg the rubber, fronts were fine.
PICS

mustang had 2 jack stands and 2 jacks under it and all jack stands were wood so wouldnt sink into the ground..
my brother would not let his mustang just fall to the ground lmao
my impala on the other hand.. he would laugh lols

they'll fit. a bunch of guys run that size.

they are a bit big for most, though. you may have to do a little fender work to get them in there without rubbing.

Im having the same probelm "Grimsin" is having over on the Impala fourms. i have a 04' Impala SS does anyone know if these wheels will fit without any probelms? i dont wanna buy them and find out they wont work or something and anytime i ask on the Impala forums all i hear is BS about wheel studs.

welcome to the site 04palass, Im sorry you had to go through that whole bs thread.. plenty of people on this site have ran 5x114.3 rims and years and never broke a stud, ppl that do break studs either have old studs that were ready to break or the installed the rims incorrectly, like not using a torque wrench etc etc

Wow those guys really went at it. I have been using the 5x114.3 bolt pattern since 07. Not once have I had issues with a stud breaking. I also use hub rings. Those that break them are usually over tightening them. I actually broke a stud on a set of 5x115 wheels. When I had it replaced, the guy at the shop told me the factory studs are really soft metal.

thats sweet man, I would copy and paste your post on the impala site if it would start the war all over again lol
