Meet My New Baby Daughter.

I mentioned before I was going to be having a baby daughter. Finally, on early Sunday morning, 12/14/14, she was born.

She was two days past her due date, and my girlfriend was in Labor for 25 hours.

3:45am was when she popped out and saw her first light. She was 8 pounds, 5 ounces and 21.5 inches long. Her name, Presley Nichole Venhuizen.

Currently, I am 21 years old and my Girlfriend is one month away from being 21. She's already done with Cosmetology school, while I still have 3 years of college left, as I am going for Automotive Engineering. Even after the first night, I can tell it will be tough going to school, working two jobs, and raising a daughter but I definitely wouldn't take her back for the world. The feeling when you hold your baby for the first time, is amazing. She just gives motivation to get through school and get a decent job to support my new family.

Girlfriend and I move in together sometime this week. Which is also a big change, as neither of us have moved out before, but now is the time since we are a family now. Big life changing events currently happening in my life but this is life, and wouldn't ever change it.

*As a side, this is a Grand Prix website, so I need to say something about my car. Lol. My car has always been my first baby, but now the Prix is my second baby, obviously. Being a car guy, I can't keep my hands off of it. It's just a hobby, as we all know. I obviously can't spend as much money on my car now, but everytime I want a "Car Part" I'll just save a little bit out of each paycheck and save up.

Anyways,
Here she is about 10 minutes after she is born:

Supporting the santa hat, cheers for the holidays:

congrats!

her name is cool, too!

Thanks man, I appreciate it!

Presley, always reminds me of Elvis Presley. Lol

Congrats Dan! Welcome to official adulthood and no sleep for the next 18 years! lol

Thank you! I work third shift in the winter (Snow Plowing) so no sleep at night isn't too out of the ordinary for me. The worst part, (Well last night anyways), she was wide awake from midnight - 4am and cried, then was happy, cried, then happy. Over and over again. Even after she was fed and had a diaper change. It's just frustrating not knowing what they exactly want. Especially when your ornery at night.

This was always the frustration with my little brother when he was born. I ended up taking care of him a lot and not knowing what they want is tough. They only have one way to explain at this young stage...cry.

they're hungry, tired, or want to be changed.

they don't have a lot of legitimate feelings or moods yet. however, my daughter is 9 months old now and she definitely has an attitude. she got it from her mom.

Awesome dude! Congrats!

Now let us see the baby seat mods in the GP!

You guys taking up in an apartment?

Ill be posting plenty of pictures of the baby in the GP, trust me!

Currently, my grandparents have a big house, and they are gone in Florida at their "winter house" until April, so we are moving in there for free for the time being. But once they get back, we'll probably get a 2 bedroom apartment or a small house. A small house is actually cheaper than 2 bedroom apartment monthly, around here.

Yeah, that's what I've been told. But even last night I changed her, then was fed, and after that even continued to cry. I figured she was tired, but just being stubborn and didn't want to fall asleep. I told her too, "Quit being a baby." LOL

Congrats man! My first child is due the 29th so I'll be joining you soon

Awesome man. Congrats! The moment they hand you your child is the best feeling you will ever experience in your life. I'm sure many people can confirm that as well.
