Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

A friend of mine has one and has been on me to race him and I don't like really "racing" on the streets so I told him find a place where NO cars are and I might! Well he called his buddy up who has a private runway for his airplane and we went out there! First was from a dead stop I have relized that is pointless in my car! At around 40 I caught but pulled on him. The second one he wanted from a 30mph roll..I tried to explain to him thats where my BEST was but he kept telling me his was too....welll lets just say im proud of my little V6! It left him in the dust! It was pretty bad he said after I got a good car pulling two on him he just gave up! I will admit im surprised cause I drove his car and it seem to be pretty quick. He said his best time in the 1/4 was 13.4 I don't know if thats good or not..but maybe that means with my setup I can pull off low 13s!!! yayaya!!! :th_peaceout: Also I think it helped alot it was around 40ish nice cold breeze blowing! Cause the SC just screamed!!! He is now looking into getting a 05Comp G with 32K on it! lol

Damn, nice!

Video!!!!!

Lucky ass, racing on a private runway!

lmao! I was actually going to try to film it..butttttt my driving and filming skills SUCK! I will for sure try to find a way to get one! His car is BONE stock!! But he is wanting to get a aftermarket intake and exhaust but I will be heading back down there this weekend so I will try to get a video or see if he wants to film it.

GTP's are great on the street. That low end torque bury's A LOT of cars you never think you can beat. Plus...doesn't help that thing weighs over 2 tons :p

Good job Jess...get some crappy cell phone vids next time :D

Challengers are heavy pigs, but it still feels good eating them for breakfast. I don't need no flu shot for that pig...just need my Grand Prix!!

Great kill!

I don't know how, I don't know why, but that was a sick kill!

Ya I drove his car and actually was surprised with how quick it moved! I figured it would be close and when we did from a roll it was because I didnt really get to going until 40ish! But from the 30 roll it was sad! LOL I hope he does get the Comp G I will have someone close to do grand prix things with! lol:rolleyes:

Well back when the new challenger came out the curb weight of the thing according to the dodge website was ~4100 lbs.

2010 Dodge Challenger Technical Specifications - Consumer Guide Automotive

According to that, a lot has been ripped out of it.

According to that same site the 7th gen GP's are 3440 lbs so its ~600 lighter than the challenger.

LMFAO they actually listened to everyone who said the car handled like a 2 ton boat and lightened it.

Nice jess good kill girlie. Yeah those lx platform mopar cars are heavy pigs. New challenger are right below 4200 lbs stock. That's a heavy tird. Even with that nice V8 in front its slower then a lot of cars. The earlier model chargers, magnums, and 300C's with the 340hp hemi couldn't move worth a crap. I've toasted several of them myself. I'd rather have my gtp anyway
