so i dated this girl for like 2 years. things were decent, up and down like all high school relationships, but overall we were both happy. i left for college at the end of the summer, and we tried really hard to make things work, but it was a total b!tch and we ended up breaking up maybe a month before i came back for the summer, at the worst possible time because i was already stressed over exams and such. i ended up deciding i was going to transfer away from bowling green and commute to a college closer to home and live with my parents for the time being, and in that euphoria, me and this girl contemplated getting back together. not wanting to make rash decisions based on emotions, my response was "are you sure that's best for us right now?". she took that as a no, and it's been nothing but problems since.

the thing that really gets to me is her new boyfriend is everything i've ever wanted to be. i'm trying to be a mechanic and work in the auto industry; he's been one for his dad for years. i've also been told their loaded, and have seen my dream car, a 1st gen camaro, in the driveway. he's moved out, idk if his parents are helping, but i'm assuming he is now that he's driving a cobra. i've also tried to be the good friend and listen to her problems with the guy, only to be told stories of a beautiful, loving family atmosphere, all while i have bruises from getting thrown down stairs with the word "failure" ringing in my ears. i'm a year from finishing my degree, one f*cking year, and it's like she just skipped all the waiting and the hard work and just got the results. and then has the nerve to show up at my house unannounced to invite me to her grad party.

anyways, i'm going to bed. hours 17 through 26 since friday are calling my name bright and early. f*ck.
 


better for you she ditched you now instead of when u guys would be married or something bro. ull find a better one.
 
If you go to her graduation party, I'm personally making a trip to Ohio...kicking you in the nuts...then donkey punching her in the ovaries.
 


I've been in a similiar situation in the past. Don't let it eat you up man, if you and this chick are to be, then sh*t will work it's self out. If not, you know damn well there's something/someone better for you out there. You're working hard towards your goals, be proud of that. Allot of people don't have the drive to do that, and that speaks volumes of your worth. All the things you want that you say he has, you'll get em. And I'd bet my ass you'll appreciate it more then he does, which means you'll be happier, which means you win.

She's having her cake and eating it too if she still comes to you for a shoulder to cry on.
You've got to cut her off and move on, not going to her grad party is a good start.
Keep your chin up bro and stay focused on school.
