• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Marofan's Mullet Car

Pretty much every accessory other than the water pump has to be swapped lol. and yeah exhaust manis and intake manis... Pretty sure you're golden on everything else though. Any questions feel free to hit me up. I was waste deep in my engine bay for a week doing the SC swap. And any tips you have I'll appreciate when I start putting my L67 engine in lol. You actually can use the coil pack bracket if needed ( i had to ) you just have to extend the ICM harness. Alternator bracket (the one with the coolant elbows) is compatible, and the FWD one is actually more SC friendly... Just in case. haha.

But yeah. I know my way around my 3800 fbody bay VERY well. So ask away :P

Boring A4. But that's okay. I'm too lazy to drive a 6 speed. I like to just drive. I drive enough manuals at work. They're not all that exciting to me anymore

2500?

Eh if it was a LS2 maybe. LS1's arent that special and the 4l60 is a grenade waiting to explode, but lucky for it it has a light car to move around. Unlike the trucks where the light side is 4600lbs.

Either way you can part the rest and make your money back, people always need weird odds and ends.

None of them are that special. LS1 drivetrain from engine to rearend with the harness/comp is easy 2500. Plus there's other **** you need for the swap. Like steering rack, gauges. Blah blah blah it adds up really fast. You couldn't buy parts individually and do it cheaper

rack is actually the same, you do need the k member though, and the springs are heavier. All the accessories will rack up a pretty penny though, so it is nice to have a full car to swap from.

v6 gauge will work, v8 gauge is nice because it goes to 150 instead of 120.

driveshaft and rear end is the same in v8/v6 just depends on options for gear ratios/lsd however it was optioned from the factory. Some v8 cars came with alum driveshaft which is nice.

Its not the same, but its compatible FWIR, same with the rear, may not be the same gear ratio, etc, but holds approximately the same power, just might be a different ratio/not lsd/ etc

Racks are not compatible. An LS kmember needs an LS rack which is the same thing as the Y87 rack. A non Y87 rack will not fit on an LS kmember. Not trying to argue with you here. But I've done homework on this swap and have a pretty fair idea of what it entails as far as parts go.
