MAF Problem?

Buy new MAF...try it out for a week see if problem persist if it does then return the Maf if not you found your problem..not sure how much simpler i can make it

$425 dollar catback wasn't expensive but bro is mad and doesn't want to throw CHEAPER parts at his Prix to fix it.

I thought i had issued with my MAF but it ran the same way unplugged so its not my MAF. I was about to replace the throttle position sensor when i thought about cleaning the throttle body first. Its seriously only took 15 miniutes to pull it off and put it back on but it took me an hour to clean it shiny like winterstorm pictures. i put it back on and it still had a LOT of hesitation and no acceleration (even floored!!) under load, up hills, etc. So i decided to put in the new TPS, but that hasnt worked either. It was worse than ever so I put back the old one and its improved a little. What did i do wrong? It looked tlike the gasket sealed right (with 4 bolts) when i put the TB back on, but was i supposed to use wax or some other king of sealer on the TB/manifold gasket???? How the he!! d oyou find a vacuum leak???
