• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

M62 Swap...

129 FWHP, ran 14.7 @ 112.

If you must know.

In other words you have no idea. Typical.

Not really just saying the TVS is kinda pointless until the tune and injector issue is fixed 1st.

What's to fix since I've already done what I wanted to do on the GenV? My goal with the GenV was 12's in full street trim on pump and over 300whp. Did that now I want to try something new

blues car shakes my car when hes 10 cars away ROFLMAO

My car is as quiet as stock until you hear the blower.
I prefer the saying walk softly and carry a big stick instead of all bark no bite.

Typically, I had an XP, Headers, with a ported GenIII blower, 3.4", stock TB, DHP PCM with the P0300 code removed and the shift points turned up (stock timing mind you)...stock transmission...stock heads...crappy 225 Bridgestones...and it went consistant low 13's on pump 93 as well with traps always around 103-105. Never dynoed. It ran with mid 12 cars on the street...it never has been a track car...I always break something.

Since then...Thrasher Race Cam, custom heads, stout valvetrain, Triple Edge Transmission, fully done GenIII, LS1 TB setup, 42.5lb. injectors, 3.1", custom tuning via HPT running 20-22* WOT...with no knock (even during 30* or colder weather...since you tune you know how much of a difference it makes at such high mod levels)...and tons of other small bables and bullsh1t.

Getting dyno'd if I go to the Ohio Meet. Or, waiting for this fall when they have another local dyno day since they are uber cheap.

Furthermore, guy...I've got nothing to really prove to you. You've got all these plans to run a LSJ M62...then you want to run a TVS...and money isn't an issue.

Good luck with your build.

Never planned on running an M62, I just need to fit one. I thought it would be cool to have people thinking I was going to run an M62 and then just shatter expectations with video, pics, and dyno sheets of the TVS... obviously that wasn't meant to happen.

The "money isn't an issue" thing was taken out of context and blown out of proportion.

I'm doing this to be different. The car is my DD (I have an actual fast car to not be bored) and I'd like to maintain stock driveability. Going full blown heads/Giant cam would take away from that a little. Not to mention I just had the motor torn down 1 year ago and I don't want to do it again. I can get away with this blower swap relatively easy.

If you don't have anything to prove to me, don't come into my thread and bash, flame, and condescend to me.

I asked MULTIPLE times before what the reasoning behind it was...why? Just because I'm nosey and wanted to know the WHY.

But you kept beatin' around the bush and wouldn't answer. Really...I understand suspence...but c'mon. Most of this was sarcasm...and you went with it too. It's the internet...take what I say with a grain of salt.

My car has gone 12's on all season tires full weight street trim on 93 pump gas. I also made over 300whp using the same recipe...

Not to backtrack a couple hours or anything... I AM at work at the moment... but Video or it didn't happen. 300whp with your setup and on All Seasons and you managed to break into the 12s.... im skeptical

I demand a Time Slip or Video.

and pics of this other fast car would be nice.... I too am a curious person, like blue...

Here's a timeline video of my car... unfortunately it doesn't show my 12 second pass... only my 13.2 @ 106.

Were gonna have to get Verz over here lol

If you want to ruin the forum by bringing over club gp rejects...
Is there any possible way we can stay on topic here?

I should have the M62 and BBV port by Monday.. possibly Saturday. I'll take a bunch of pictures by my LIM and we'll see where we're at.

LOL, I knew you would bite. I was just curious if thats who you were. Thats all. Anyways good luck with the setup

Is anyone even interested in this setup? I thought I was doing something interesting here... I guess I totally overestimated how cool this blower is.
