• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Looking for a little bit of help. I don't know what some of these holes are for so trying to figure it out and to make everything functional that needs to be functional.
What are the two medium sized holes that are on the top and bottom of the largest opening in this pic. I believe the top on in this pic gets blocked off with my phenolic IC. Any advice is appreciated.

wut?

**** needs to flow.

So rear PCV happens and ****, via that odd drilled hole back there.

need that to be open to your interfaker.

front PCV will be blocked no matter what.

Other random holes dont see to matter as long as they're open to the LIM. Namely that bottom right hole. I couldn't even tell you what its all about.

Rear PCV uses that secondary hole drilled next to the normal rear PCV hole.

The bottom left hole will be blocked, the bottom right will need to be open.

You'll need to run a breather or read the thread that was started by the guy who sold you the core.

Yeah, I've read that thread several times, and I'm just not getting it. I'd love to just see a pic or two and talk to someone that has my setup. I'm going to GenV, N*.

What's the question and which core do you have? Let's see some pics of the core.

Many cores block the upper right and lower left holes. Those are your PCV. Without them..your crankcase can build pressure etc.

Bill, this is the core from Ed(SSEILMNOP or whatever his username is) that sells these on here. It looks like you are correct that the two medium sized holes are covered. The small hole next to the upper right hole does have a passage cut through the phenolic plates. I just need to know what to do. I'll take a closer look again tonight. I wonder if I can drill for that lower left hole. THe upper hole is blocked by the IC core(hence why it's not drilled). If I understood the PVC system better and how it worked this would probably make more sense.
