• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Lurking Regal owner

I tapped them either at the bcm or where they run back to the tails. Use the tails..because the front ones are tied into the parking light circuit.

Don't ask how I know this..just accept that you want to do it the better way. :th_biggrin2:

I should be able to just hit them in the main harness running back as my interior is bare. Just need to break out the manual and figure out which wires they are. Also need to figure the gauge. 18?!

Today I did some wire fishing and removed my exhaust. I busted out the new crimper tool. This thing is badass. Never a bad crimp again!!! OK, it sounds petty, but it works great. Here are a couple crimps

Also removed the exhaust today. One of the O2 sensors was a biatch to get out. Fortunately I have some flare nut wrenches and a hammer. :)

Well, i did more than that. I didn't have much time either. Bill, can you check the wiring scheme? If I'm reading my manual right, the brown wire is the rear turn signal lead.

Also, still learning dc. I just ground the return lead?

Finished installing my fuel pump rewire. I love my badass crimp tool. Put on an OEM end and just plugged the wire right into the clip. You might be asking why the wire is red and not blue like most ZZPs fuel pump rewire. That's because this is the stupidest product I have ever purchased. The wire is about 12 inches too short. FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL. Seriously ZZP just add 24 inches for a cost of 30 cents and charge 3 more dollars. I'm super pissed about this at the moment. So much for having one continuous wire.

Then I put my motor back in after putting on header wrap. It's not all hooked up, but it's back in and bolted to the trans.

My zzp fuel pump rewire was also about a foot short. Pissed me off big time. Had to splice in an extension wire. Might run a new wire some day.

Ive sent enough stuff back to them. Had to send back my rear modified fuel rail. Got the new one and it also leaked. So I had to modify it myself to get it to seal. PITA

Bill, bumpsky on the wiring schematic if you have the info. Thanks.

Hmm, my zzp re-wire had enough length, sorta lol.

I just pulled the carpet up more and shoved it down farther to make the distance less to the back of the car and have maybe 1in to spare lol.

I dont like the way the zzp harness works anyway. In the future im gonna get a walbro 255lph pump and caspers harness.

Alright, I was hoping to get her started today, but ran into a snag with the evap stuff. A few problems. 1st, the bar that mounts the evap thing doesn't go back on. The IC changes the angles as well as the fuel logs interfere. I mounted it to the firewall, but the stock hoses won't fit. I guess I'll have to just do some regular vacuum hoses. The other issue is that in the stock setup, one side goes to the TB.

What are you guys doing(those of you that have gone to gen V and IC)? I could use some help here.
