"low coolant" and other stuff....

So my low coolant light has been coming on (sometimes off), per nov 2011. So I stick more coolant in it, ok fine and dandy for a few days, then just like that "tada" its back on. :th_angry2: Before anyone says check for leaks, I've done that already, nothing is leaking, and no coolant in the oil either. I swear I hear a gurggle sometimes, like it has a air bubble in it. I'm just hoping its not doing what I think it maybe doing... :th_angry-teeth:

ok, so on to the other stuff...
So for around I'd say 6 months or so the car had not up and died for awhile. Well it started to do it again, only this time, more often... I was on my way home from helping a friend, when the car just died, ok fine threw it into (N) and it started right back up, keep going, 2 lights down the road I come to a stop and it just fooking dies AGAIN. This time, it didn't sound like it started back up, but it did (starter squeeled so I knew). Over half way home, it does it again.. ^&*#%$&#!!!11! But starts right back up, right down the road the SOB does it again.... At this point I saw nothing but red, I was so PO'D... So I figured it could be the fuel pump, well that is working so not it, then I decided to test the "maybe its the low coolant", so I dump half a 50/50 in it, and all is well, no more killing over on me.. Now the coolant light is back on, and just today, I was letting it warm up, and while I was in the car heard and felt this very odd vibration, like something was about to crap itself, but nothing did.

Sorry for the long post, but I can't seem to figure out why it dies on me, or why it keeps wanting more coolant. :th_tongue2:

Check your coolant elbow from the LIM. On my 3800, the seal blew out of 3K miles and had to redo it. My low coolant light kept coming on til I fixed this. When it gets warmed up it lets coolant out and causes there to be low pressure in the system tripping the sensor.

3.1 don't have coolant elbows.
