Love/Hate about the grand prix/am

what are your favorite things and things you hate about your grand prix or grand ams?

for me i love everything except for the cheap plastic interior and the road noise.
everything else is amazing and ill be dynamating the entire car so the road noise will be leaving me soon.

massive body roll. its a heavy family car thats fwd you can only do so much. im gonna try to make it as best as i can tho
 
I've got ripped sway bar links and bushings, rusted strut mounts and towers.

Running original struts and springs at 218k miles.

Car still corners better than my friends cars
 
Ohhhh this is my kinda thread.

Everything from the tires up on the GA
On the GP, well it has an engine and trans that I kinda like. The rest of the car is junk. Specially the 97-03's. GM had it right when they gave it a 3.1 motor. It's not a sports car, One seat heater, no gauges (lego block boost gauge...I've laughed at you guys for years on that one), sways that crack, worlds worst seats, 2.25" exhaust hahahaha
 


I have owned the concept car Grand am SC/T with the supercharger. That grand am was fun! Gm was STUPID for not putting it in production. I have also owned a Grand am GT that yes sucked.....but it put up with alot!!! As for my GTP's......really heavy, window motors keep going out, and gas gauge keeps messing up.

I also own a G8 GXP.....only con there is that it has road noise.
 
I love the roomy interior of the 97-03. Makes it easy for me to get in and out.
The 04+ is a much quieter car, but it's harder for me to get in and out. Probably something with being a 4 door instead of 2.

I love the motors and transmissions on either years.
 
97-03 Hate:
-Seats
-Interior quality or lack of in general
-Rocker Panels
-Transmissions
-FWD
-Engine Sound
-Reputation
-the stock LIM gaskets
-The window motors
-The wheel bearings
97-03 Love:
-Body Styling
-$Value to go fast/faster
-Cheapness of parts

04-07 Hate:
-Only 4 Doors
-Dont care for the body stylings much
-Heavier
04-07 Love:
-GenV stock
-Interior Quality Comparitively

I've never owned any of the 04+ so I cant comment much.
