• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Loose sensor in Intake

First of all, it happened becuase thats not a stock intake. And yes it could cause problems, if dust and crap gets sucked in there and ruins your engine. Tape it up or put something to seal it with.

Patch that up a little bit. Not bad so much for the sensor itself, but bad for the fact that the hole can allow unfiltered air to be sucked up and routed directly into your throttle body.. Its not very likely that any time soon something horrible will happen, but id patch it up a little regardless... especially since it looks like that will fall out if you run over a pebble.

Smear some gasket maker around where it should seal up and shove it back in and you shouldn't have to worry about it again.

I'd skip the gasket maker. Grab my step drill and a couple of pcv grommets from the parts store. One will fit the sensor. Then drill the hole to the size for the grommet and insert sensor. All set, nice and clean install.
