Looking for suggestions on building my engine

So here is the dilemma ..

I spun a rod bearing in the 04 so I'm gonna build the lower end of the engine while I'm here.. I'm wondering what you guys think on pistons. Should i put je or diamond pistons.. also should I go with stock comp ratio or the na ratio. This will mostly be run on e85 and will be a daily driver. I guess i should clarify the car is a gtp and i have a dhp...

Naaa, I have access to all the machining equipment to do this so I'm gonna rebuild it.. just looking at the pros/cons of the different compression ratios.

Also other than the stock and the zzp rods are there any other out there?

Should throw my mods in here to help make a decision easier

Headers
Hot air cone intake
S1x camshaft
Slightly "massaged" stock heads
105# springs
60lb injectors
Re_Wire fuel pump
Cat delete
E85 tune/conversion
Wide Band O2
Aeroforce scan gauge
TEP Transmission - stock stall converter

Well anyone with some compression ratio suggestions if I'm getting new pistons.

goals?

fuel?

power adder?

GOALS - Fun daily driver

FUEL - E85

POWER ADDER - Standard 04 M90 with a 3.4 pulley for now but I'd probably move up if I go with the higher compression ratio..

I'm mostly looking for the pros and cons.

Well with more static cr you need a wilder cam or more octane or less boost for it to run.

Note the m90 record for power is 10:1 pistons, e85, and zzp al heads which increase static cr even further.

If youre only goibg to use e85 theb max comp, otherwise it might be to to stick with a max of 9.5. Unlesa you plan on a wilder cam as well.

With E85 and 8.5:1 stockers you'll have no problem adding some timing and you can keep the 3.4.

Running 9.5:1 will present some challenges, especially if your right foot suffers from Turret's Syndrome.

In the 10.0:1 range I would get the coated pistons 'cause the motor at some point will see some detonation. Let's get real here; it's a daily driver.

Ran 9.4 on pump with zero issues.

building a bottom end.. the rule is get the compression up as high as you can, and get the rods upgraded the best you can... its the only thing that will make it worth the $1500+ (weither you pay it or not) amount of machine work required to build it.

If you put the right parts in, you can get the money back later.

As far as your setup goes otherwise... E85 + s1x cam = 3.0 pulley and 360+whp on a 10:1 bottom end... aka it will work fine.

So out of the after market pistons out there which company do you guys recommend and why.??

Thanks
