I just purchased a 04 grand prix gt on saturday. The car is in great shape with a few exceptions. I am looking for a set of new headlights and taillights. Also i am not a fan of the rims and am looking for something chrome with the pontiac symbol in the center.

Also for those who know about this car, i am having a few issues. First the cruise control does not work. I checked the fuse and that was not the problem, nor was the 3rd tail light.

My second problem is when i first start it up, i have to slightly push on the gas, or else it will stall. After it does start it runs perfectly, but the start up has me a little worried. I drive a lot for work (roughly 30,000 miles a year), and am trying to make this car last as long as possible. Any advice is appreciated.

How do i clean the throttle body? Could that be the reason that when i start it, i have to give it gas? If i dont it tends to stall. Once i give it gas it runs perfectly.
 
Take the intake tube off unplug the connector on the tb then take out the 4 10 mm bolts and scrub the hell out of it.
