• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Looking for opinions.

lt1 is okay but the ls1 has a little more room to work under the hood my 94 z28 was a pain in the but to change spark plugs and such

Damn. Your good. Well I think I'm decided on a lt1 guys. Unless someone can talk me out of it lol. I just wanted a rwd v8 that wasn't a pain to maintain. I hear the backseats are non existent though. True? I may have two little ones with me, will they fit? Lol

yea kids are ok you can fit a forward facing carseat back there but not rear facing adults can fit but not very comfortable

stick is not hard at all do u have any friends that have a car or truck with stick? maybe they can give you a few quick lessons that is all u will need i taught myself

Well I was going to sell mines and hope to get atleast 3500 out of it. Seems like a lot considering the age and mileage but in my area I've seen worse sell for more. I was hoping to spend less than 4500. I'm not locked on it but I would prefer a Pontiac. I'm still researching though so I'm open to all suggestions.

That's what off come up with. I've heard horror stories of how hard it is to work on the lt1. Think ill ride blue and save my monies up for a ls1.

Just search opti spark and you will see why the LS1 is a better engine all around. It boggles my mind why GM engineers would think that's a good placement especially since when the water pump takes a dump it leaks right on to it. While the LT1 isn't difficult to mod you will find the LS to be more responsive and the aftermarket for them is insane. If I was choosing between those two specific engines, LS1 no question about it. Besides the LS1 body style is just pure sex compared to the LT1 be it a Camaro or TA. Between those two, the TA just looks mean as F__k and intimading as hell, while the Camaro makes me feel like I'm staring a catfish in the face.
