Looking for Opinions! Wheel Color

Looking for some opinions...looking to paint or powdercoat my wheels...They are Borbet Type FS 18x7.5...I am thinking about painting them gunmetal...I like gloss black but I think that is a bit to much black with tires...they are currently a polished silver color...please express opinions negative or positive...also gloss black SPO grills are being installed soon

Well since you asked. IMHO they look fine now, that said if you are dead set of murdering them consider this. Go for a glossy black but leave a “polished silver” ring on the outer edge of the rim. Again IMO completely blacked out (or gun metal) rims hardly ever fit with the rest of the car, leaving that small ring does wonders for aesthetics.

Im not set on it otherwise I would have done it already...the wheels are good shape I am just bored of them...I am not to fond of the black unless its gloss and the gunmetal would have to be very gloss
 
i like them how they are if not black maybe a dark gray color, and then paint the grills and lower valance to match
 


yeah I deff don't want a boring gunmetal...maybe I will just leave them alone...I like them just am getting bored and I like gunmetal wheels
 
i really dont think they'd look any better in any different color. i think your best bet is to leave them how they are now.

or buy new wheels if you want a change. once you paint a set of wheels, value on them for resale drops immensely.
 
Pardon the crappy paintshop job. You could do the inner edge body color. Itd prolly look pretty cool with the wheels spinning, too.

Well I have the SPO grills installed and there is alot of black on my car...What do you guys think of my wheels being black here is a pic I found
