Looking at buying an 01 GT, what do you guys think of these rockers?

Was it recently repaired or stored every winter?

I believe it may have been stored. Its an 01 with only 54,000 miles. Pics of the rest of the body look great.

That is amazing. If my rockers looked like my car would get an undercarriage wash 2-3 times a week to make sure they stayed that way...

Pretty sure I am going to buy this one! Best i've seen. Undercoating may be the first thing done to it....after seeing what the salt and snow did to my 00 GT.

exactly why i do a undercoat every year, 7 years old and still looks like new(my car)

make sure they undercoat inside rockers,doors, and some other places im forgetting, some places go cheap undercoat underneath thats it, where i go they drilled in the rockers sprayed inside and out and put caps on.

car will rot from caps 20 years from now.

Thanks guys!! I want to keep this in good shape as long as possible. I love the 97-03 body style....and its taken me a few months just to find the "right" one. Flying to Oklahoma to look at it....and hopefully drive it home on the 17th.
