• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! List things that are not working

Is it just me or could making the thread titles larger than the thread creator, make it easier to read on smart phones?


Think I notice it more when I'm viewing "new posts"
 


Can we get rid of that damn Facebook integration crap? Everytime the page loads it takes a second or two longer to load which then adjusts the page down causing me to click on random crap.
The part I'm talking about for those who don't know is the "like" option top right above The pages listing
 
when you do a quick post and it goes to the next page (posts full last page) it will bring up that annoying 'do you want to navigate away from this page' notice. granted if you click it the post will go through and it will take you to the next page, but i think that is a little obnoxious.
 


I had watched the LIM 33 minute Video by DuBob and got up the courage to attempt mine this weekend and now the video won't load/play. I tried it from two laptops and my office computer. If I am doing something wrong, please let me know what as I am supposed to start turning wrenches in less than 12 hours and I am skeered chitless. Well maybe not that bad but I don't think I will start tear down until video is available again.

Took me awhile to figure this out too.
But if you click on "My Profile", it is listed under your profile picture. There is one for threads posted and one for threads started.
 
I was hoping to not have to subscribe to them since that used to cause an email to show up every time someone posted something new. But there's probably an option to turn that off, too. Thanks 4THGEN and thanks danielle.

Um, I'm still messing around with it, but it looks like I can't search posts by username. Is anyone else able to?

And even without it, the search will only display thread titles, not individual posts. Frustratingly limited search functions.
 
I will get on some of the search querrys on the last forum i wrote and recode them for the new forum structure.
 


not sure if its just me but sometimes when i first visit the site the chat will get stuck on loading.... after multiple times refreshing the page its still stuck there but if i click the grandprixforums logo at the top of the page it will finally load

Your posts regarding coding confuse me. In my experience with forum software (this coming from a web developer / programmer) nothing should require writing any code whatsoever unless it's for a custom feature.
 
I used to know the actual server path to these things, but I'm totally blanking on it. Any admins/Rocket feel like just listing it up for us until the links get repaired?
