• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

lim porting specs

The inlet of the stock LIM is more like a square you want to cut of material so it matches the outlet of the blower, which is more like a rectangle.

You do not port the outlet of the LIM.

Here is a picture of completed gen 3 and 5 S/C's from ZZP

And here's a stock one.

you CAN port the outlet of the LIM, but it wouldnt make sense unless you ported the intake side of your heads as well.

Porting the outlet of the SC. How far are you going? It makes little sense to cut open the top of your LIM unless you plan to intercool or enlarge the outlet of the SC. The reason folks open the LIM like the pictures is to add an intercooler and take advantage of the larger cooling surface on the intercooler.

His intercooler is on the way. For the lims that i machine open, i smooth them from the casting marks, not port. You dont wanna port the runners on a stock heads as it will create a lip and not good for air flow.

hell yah baby...im gonna be intercooled and ported....this is so exciting not only will i use the dancing banana..:th_dancingbanana: but the dancing carrot..:th_dancingcarrot:..and because its so damn hot im giving you all the dancing pepper....:th_dancingpepper: oh yah feel the heat...or the cooling hehehe
