Shoulda replaced that tie rod before it ever got that bad.

everything felt good in the steering, no shakes, shimmys, pulls, sloppy steering.. Nothing. Tie rod is my best guess, but for all I know the tire could have blown. Never will know for sure, but it pulled hard!

Period. they over-quoted everything, I even told them I had my old sidemarkers to put back in, they tried to charge me ~$50 for them (the whites were 30). $600 for new grill guard - I paid $200. $60 each for off-road lights - I paid $90 for all four. then they chose to keep the 'Sploder for over 4 weeks. Needless to say, I'm not going back there again. Not the first time that shop tried to screw us

I had that happen a few years ago with my grand prix. A tire blew as I took a corner (at least im pretty sure thats what happend). I went straight over a big curb and hit a stop sign. I lost 3 out 4 18" rims and tires, the entire front suspension basically and the cradle. As well as a bumper and a fender.
The cop was actually nice though and didnt give me a ticket or anything.

Man all you guys who had tires blow have bad luck. I had one blow out on me maybe 150 feet after I took a corner. Tire went bang and took the wheel out of my hand but I got my hand back on it and pulled it straight and then pulled off the street when I had the chance. Was going about 40 mph and it was the front driver tire, tire had a big bubble in it that I neglected to fix so yeah.....don't ignore that kind of stuff lol

I had a front tire on my Stealth blow apart at 70 once. Scared the SH!T out of me, but I maintained control. I pulled to the should and drove on at a lower speed because I didn't have a jack in the car. I didn't have a jack because a few weeks prior I had jacked the car up to change a flat and the car fell on the jack because I forgot to set the ebrake.

Narrow road, and sharp corner, so I had no time to react. Whatever happened, happened and then almost instantly I was over the inside curb. Good thing is it was right at the end of the curb, so only only tire ate it. Bad thing is if it would have happened a second later I would have just gone in the ditch, no curb..
