leaking air

So after buying my 2004 gtp the dealership sent me to get 10 dollars of prepaid gas from a sketchy gas station/workshop. I think this is where my troubles started. After getting my car I realize there is a nail in my front driver side tire. I bring it back and of course it happened in 10min of owning the car and wasn't there before so they will only plug it. Then two weeks later my low pressure warning light came on and found a screw in my passenger side rear tire. So I get this plugged only to find out it is still leaking when I was washing my car I saw air bubbles around the valve stem and I also heard it(and the psi dropped). I was told that the chrome alloy can rust somewhere around the stem and cause it to leak does this really happen?

They will corrode on the inside. Just take it to a shop and have them replace the valve stem and wire brush around the bead.

Alright .... I know this scummy guy at midas who does free work for me usually he said he replaced the valve stem but i think he just put air in the tire....I'm taking it to my real mechanic today.
