The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
it helps in the upper RPM's, such as when you go WOT, try to get it for less then $200 though, its good to know that even a used one is just as good as a brand new one as there is no wear and tear on these things so if you top swap latter it can be sold for what you paid for it hopefully
You'll lose power on the bottm end if you don't tune for it. I only have (or had before the flooding) an 1/8th mile track near me, and my times went up when I installed mine.

K. Well I'm not driving an import. It's my DD. I drive 600+/- miles a week for work. Got a cone slapped on maf housing and already seeing gains there. Figure headers and hv3 with tune should pick it up a Lil more.
If you decide to add just a little more power then I recommend the ER rockers. Mine's a daily driver so it makes it a little more fun to drive on the street and on the highway.
Righty...The longer runners increase bottom-end torque, at low RPM's, where the fuel economy is...An HV3 will allow more air to enter the engine at higher RPM's and thus, the PCM will command more fuel to keep the AIR-FUEL ratio in check. So NO HV3 for good fuel economy and older HV3's warp & shrink. I was getting 34-37 highway with my L36 MC (3.05 final). The ONLY mods were: PEM, DP & ZZP under-drive water pump pulley with over-drive alternator pulley, to keep stock belt length. The DP was a Random-Tech (R/T) model for an Impala and uses NO flex-pipe. A used S.S. PLOG will work slightly better (2HP) than a PEM, I've dyno'd at ZZP just with that change. Headers will loose torque below 2,500 RPM, where you need the torque to climb over-passes while on cruise as to avoid the transmission down-shifting, raising engine RPM's and lowering fuel economy.
Also.... when your at cruising speeds, keep your foot off the gas like you used to. When I first put my HV3 and headers on, I would be driving along minding my own business. I would then look down and see I was doing well over the speed limit.
get ER rockers and headers before the HV3, then tune it up
EDIT: cause i have the hv3 without the rockers and the headers and i feel 0 difference except the car is little louder and breathes better
