Kyb struts for 04+ comp g

Just want to get anyone's opinions on the kyb gr2 rear struts for the 04+ Grand Prix comp g with the 17" rims, and if you got better springs or stuck with your old ones. Also does anyone know of a strut/spring assembly that will fit the 04+ w/17" rims?

Any garbage will work. What do you want, original ride?, lower? don't care?.
I have an 04 compg with SSC springs( for 4,000 miles) on 90,000 original struts.
I will only use the Delco FE3s for replacement struts, when I do it.

You can use the GR2s and original springs, no sweat. It will be a small step down from the original struts, but they should work fine.
Or get a strut/spring combo from Monroe if you really don't care. Most, if not all of us, would never dream of Monroe, except for the mounts.

I have seen mixed reviews on kyb's. I would get the delco's on rock auto. Are you asking about lowering springs?

I was thinking about getting either oem struts or the next best thing. I was going to get ac delcos but I am having a hard time finding the right ones for my car. Since I'm ordering online i want to be sure about the fit, 17" rim, fe3 susp, etc.

So after struts, springs, and mounts should I buy a new boot kit for the struts or use the old ones? And is there anything I'm missing?
Thanks for the replies and part numbers

I'm running 2004 CompG Springs with KYB GR2 339015's and 339148's. These are the FE4 (Special Handling Package) spec struts.
