Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

kung fu panda (e85 with 2.8 )SOLD

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

decided to scrap meth and go with E85. price of 65# injectors are cheaper than the meth kit.

gonna go as low as a 2.8" if it is knock free. gonna start on a 3.0"

E85 FTW.....I wish we had more than one station carrying it around me, or I would have converted months ago....and btw, Devil's Own kits are cheaper on Ebay than on the site....good stuff on the trans upgrades, surprised you haven't fried anything yet.....and why no custom tune yo?

just have nnot had the money, and it is easier to get the canned tune. no worries though, i will have it tuned and ready by spring.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

AC delete for some weight loss, also got a new trans dip stick finally, to get rid of the fluid seepage from the base of the tube where its cracked.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

04+ needles look great, but next summer during that TX heat you might regret getting rid of the AC.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

the ac doesnt work anyway. and i dont want to spend money getting it fixed, along with this dumb ass automatic AC. its not my daily driver anyway. we got another car for family business.

going to take out rear seats eventually too.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

Thatta boy weight reduction might as well pull the box from under the dash and take all the seats out and gut the trunk too! Yes I love gutted W bodies.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

well i want to keep heater, so im leaving vents in. i rig the blend doors by hand for heat and extra cooling at the track now. that reminds me i need to go out and switch to heat for the winter. i drive my car 1-2 times a week which comes out to 10 miles a week. early morning(COLD)

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

LOL sounds like racecar to me! Didn't you nitrous too or I thought you were talking about it a while ago.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( tear down and build up plans.)

no, i was talking about Meth, but decided against that and am going to convert to e85. its cheaper and more power. that will be done by spring with a 2.8 pulley and dyno tune, and built trans with 300m, 7/8" chain, 2500 stall converter

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( E85 in the works, A/C Deleted)

im not about to rip up the dash to take out the evaporator

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( E85 in the works, A/C Deleted)

did find my problem with low side spiking high when charging. the expansion valve was almost completely clogged. i knew that was the problem. I had a big leak somewhere, system was completely empty. Cracked lose fitting at the accumulator first, and no pressure at all, no pressure in any of the lines, but a little oil and dye. i didnt see any dye on any fittings or components, its gotta be internal somewhere.

Doesnt matter now, its all gone.

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( E85 in the works, A/C Deleted)

Nice, take all that metal to the recycle place, get monies and get MOAR parts :th_thumb-up:

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( E85 in the works, A/C Deleted)

how much you think i would get for all that? 20 bucks?

Re: Kung Fu Panda NIC build,( E85 in the works, A/C Deleted)

didnt think so. i was just gonna take it to work with me and dump it in our metal scrap dumpsters. (Fork Lift company)

im thinking about taking off my vinyl stripes soon...

If you get that Evap core out, your looking to a least get $30-$35 total, enough for something good.
