Knock Retard measurement

was monitoring my knock retard last night trying to figure out where to set an alarm for it so I know when its time to ease up or make adjustments.
at max boost WOT I was getting .7 KR not a full degree am I measuring this properly.... I was told to expect between up to 4-6 KR out of a stock engine.

with the light mods I had I wasnt sure whether to expect more or less but is 5 or 6 kr really displayed as .5 or .6 of a degree ?

exhaust flow mods are really good at killing kr, what mods do you have?

All I have is plog and 3" downpipe and the highest kr I see is 2.5*

The app works just fine.

I assume you used the predefined extended PIDs, so as far as measuring it correctly you shouldn't have an issue.

Some cars knock more than others and when they say 4-6 they don't mean cruising around town.

only mods atm are deleted rear resonators , big spectre intake and ram air hood....does a thermostat count as a mod.

i constantly had upwards of 4-7* of knock before i got tuned nicely. still beat the car like it owed me money. never blew up.
