k i got a cylinder 4 miss and im running out of options

DaytonaGTP

Its not that small is it?
ive got a putt putt sound out the exhaust and a little shake of the engine. found out its a cylinder 4 miss. replaced all plugs with double plat autolites and new wires. checked my coils and ign. control module they all test fine. its got a 6 month old crank sensor that was replaced by me and my friend at midas. k so ive narrowed it down to either an injector or maybe bad compression. i havent done a noid test on the injector but i did use a stethiscope and it is pulsing steady just like the other five. thats about all i have... what else can i do here? im also thinking a vac leak but... its a 2000 gtp

awesome. ill do all that. as for the injectors... will i have to get new o rings when i pull em out or can i just remove and pop back in?... im worried i might ruin the o rings while takin em out.

k heres whats weird. during this whole thing my ses light never came on and even more odd was the fact that my scanner at work didnt read any codes, however, the one at autozone did. theirs does look way newer and it also reads abs lights... and of course the scanner at midas found the code for the cyl. 4 miss. well i went and switched the coils and then on the way home boom... my ses light came on...lol. so tommorow ill find out what it says. this time it should read a cyl. 2 miss since thats the coil i traded. if it does then ive got a winner...

if you know some one with a good scanner. you can shut the injector off on the cyl and see if it changes the way it runs.

yeah but if i can hear the injector pulsing cant i assume that its fine. its quite possible its in my head maybe i do have a small exhaust leak at the rear manifold apparently. heres what happened with the scanner my friend has which is like a 2k dollar scanner. at idle im reading a good deal of misfire at cyl 4. when i raise the rpm to about 3k the miss pretty much goes away and then i get very small random misses in a couple other cylinders but mainly at idle til 3k rpm its cylinder 4. the coils are fine. ign mod is fine. the only other option i have is a compression test and maybe a fuel pressure test.

Not to pull up a old thread but I'm having same issue with same cyl. What did it end up being? I replaced all coil packs plugs and wires. Injector checked out fine, I did have low fuel pressure but changed pump and regulator and still have misfire

Brand new 3inch catless downpipe, brand new resonator, and flowmasters. Less then 1000 miles on all of it. Got a zzp pcm to delete and change out codes for catless dp

Downpipe is tight, I'm seeing the misfire on my aeroforce. Its only at idle any throttle at all its fine, real bad right at start up

these cars misfire at idle. if its not causing any problems and all the ignition goodies are fine then who cares. my car always misfired at idle.
