• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

coming home from work today ,get within a mile of home and boom! out of nowhere a big black lab running as fast as it could no way i could miss it. took out headlight, signal ,fender, both doors and the hood.can't get estimate til dec.31st. ins. has to get a visual of damage first.sorry i killed the dog ,but damn it pissed me off to tear up my gtp!:th_shakinghead2:

i was so pissed at the time! i had my 3 year old granddaughter, my wife and trunk full of groceries in there also.i had already had the day from hell at work! i may ride up there today to see if i can find the owner. it's a small town & i live about a mile down the road from it. needless to say the mayor & all the towns people hate me,my son and all our car friends! don't know if its worth stirring the crap pot for the damages. i've turned it in to my insurance co. get an estimate dec. 31st.maybe i will see who owned the dog and let them know the damages.they may not be mad ( who the hell am i kidding they all b****es there!) thanks for listening ,jimmy

Lmao they're going to be pissed that you killed their dog, and neglect the fact that you or your family could of been seriously hurt.

Good luck finding the owner. After my grandpa swerved a cat and ditched his Monte Carlo. I don't swerve for anything small than a cat.

It's not worth it. Unless you're a die hard PETA member, then you'd destroy everything you've got for that squirrel running across the street. I'm the same way, I don't swerve for something unless it's bigger than a cat or something that could do damage, and only will if I'm in an area that would be safe to do so. Better to hit something and mess up my bumper than swerve off the freeway and smash into a ditch and total the car, or worse.

thanks everyone, put the stock headlight back in so i can atleast drive it.cleaned off the dog crap .got lots of pics for adjuster and i will stick the broken lights back in before estimate.the wife loves dogs so had to clean it up a little.,jimmy

going to see adjuster in the morning at 8:30. i turned it in under comprehensive,
but i do have full coverage also.we'll see how this goes.

if they are willing to fix it they may want to make it a slavage title not sure how you feel about that. me personally if the work is done right and you cant tell then cool. On a side note about this. my mom had a 2000 dodge durango that was hit so hard it shoved the spare tire under the floor boards and bent the frame it had $13,000 worth of damage done to it and the back 2 doors never worked right after that. one door was to close and the other was a huge gap (lazy body shop).

well went to see adjuster this morning and won't know anything til this evening . he said its borderline totalled,so we'll see i guess.
