Got a second one done today. Three coats graphite, two coats of clear on the face of the rims. Tomorrow will be just prep, I am cutting out of work early cause I'm going to TX for the four day weekend.

And should I suggest take it to a good tire shop to mount the tires. You don't want some moron messing up that pretty paint.

Not to brag, but my first Automotive related job was working at National Tire Warehouse (NTW), now called National Tire & Battery (NTB) and have worked at many other Tire shops total of about 4 years tire experience to include patching, farm tires, wire wheels and custom rims. So with that being said, I will be using the on Post Auto Shop to mount and balance my tires myself and I will be static balancing the rims (weights only on inside of rim). So if anyone fvcks my rims up, it will be me, but that ain't gonna happen.

Oh your bragging lol. Hey it's way easier knowing that if you screw up your the one having to fix it vs someone else and can't beat free or cheap I assume.

Using the Post Auto shop is way cheaper than at a tire shop and I know for damn sure they will be done right by......ME;)

Gotta wait till tax return hits, I have to replace my rear tires. So the ETA till rims on will be about another two weeks.

Hey twentyocho, want to buy my Monte SS rims? They look good on gold cars :)

It's just a quick drive down IH-35 for you to get them!!!

I used that wheel paint a few times and mind didnt turn out that good. Then again I didnt prep them that well.

Enjoying the 4 day home in TX, rims will be dealt with next week. Took a screenshot from a WOT pull, conditions were clear, no traffic and open TX roads. I thought my hud only went to 126, but it read 133 when I took this screenshot. Had the performance shift button on. Felt like a good WOT pull. Oh also this was before I hit the dog, details on that in the "What did you do to your car today" Thread.

Its gonna b a while b4 i get wheels. I m trying to get one thing at a time lol... My 4Runner is getting most of my monies right now hope to have it ready for a trip to Mosquito Pass in Colorado this Summer then hopefully MOAB in October. Thanx for the offer though... Gawd I wish I could find some rails cheap.. some ppl have all the luck lol..
