Finished up doing my LIM gasket, got everything sorted, fired it up, burped all the air out of the system, took it for a test drive and then at WOT.....SAME SH1T!!!! Only produced 3.0lbs of boost, even the factory meter lit up only half way. WTF Is it possible to have a bad SC. All the vacuum lines are good, new (non leaking) LIM gasket, I just don't fuqin get it. Makes me want to sell the damn thing after throwing parts at it. I also painted the SC. Here are some pics.

If it's not a vacuum leak, then as mentioned try the BBV, what kind of condition is the belt in? Could it be beat to $hit & slipping? Didn't read the last 11 pages so not sure what you have looked at. Also, did you ever port the SC?

I would think you got a faulty BBV when you replaced it, or possible PCV Valve?

should have painted the valve covers while you were at it. SC looks out of place sittin on top of that dirty engine...............

I want to paint the VC, but I am only home for a week for Thanksgiving. My house is in TX and I'm stationed at Fort Polk, LA.....so the wife hates it when I come home to just work on the car. I like to spend time with my family.

HOLY SH!T ON A SHINGLE!!! I replaced the T-style vacuum on top of the fuel pressure regulator and BOOM now I have full boost. I have been chasing the vacuum leaks on this car for a year now. I took it on a test drive and was watching the Boost gauge on the Torque app, when I went WOT the screen read 7.1 at max and the factory gauge went all the way up. I know the car needed the LIM gaskets, but gawd damn man if all that it needed was a simple T-fitting. The end result is that I love this car again and the power is awesome. Can't wait to finish my last two mods which are headers and 3.4 pully. :)

Something so simple can make such a big impact. Amazing huh?

Congrats on fixing it though man.

Now its time to paint that VC, TB, and get that damn chrome intake tubing out of there so it all flows together Oh so nicely.

YES DAN, not all of us can have great looking rides, hahahaha. Yeah the TB, VC and intake tube will be addressed later. Doing the LIM took a cut out of my bank.

Im not saying you have a bad looking car at all. Just doing those things i listed is very simple and cheap and will do wonders to your engine bay.

Dan, I know bro, I was messing with you. Since I work in Louisiana and my house is in Texas it is hard to do anything to my car. Another 4-5 months and I will be home for good and out of the Army. Then I put more focus on cleaning up the engine bay and the rest of the car. RIGHT NOW I am so fuqin happy that I have FULL boost and new LIM gaskets.

Mine is mucho awesomeo with 225K miles on it. I like to punch it at about 25-30 and it'll downshift to 1st and blow the tires off. My input shaft loves it lol
