Fa sho dat
looks good man
if you buy some knockoff OBX bullcrap headers i'm going to personally drive down and slap you.
pay the money. buy the stuff worth buying.
Good choice in car, you will enjoy it just like i do with mine
Get ur azz over to ls1gto and get edumacated
I'd do knockoff or something other than kooks if I lived in the south. I'd take that chance.
Paying over 1,000 bucks just for the long tubes is crazy talk in my eyes. I can understand a little more money for how different the tubes must run on a car compared for a LS trucks but a 500-700 price difference is ridiculous. A set of long tubes on a trucks is maybe 300-400 bucks for a nice set.
Three kids ain't cheap.
I hear Nebraska has a place where you can just drop them off and leave, no penalty.... just sayin :th_lipssealed2:
you say that now, but we both know that modding is more addicting that crack cocaine, next thing you know you will be having drag bags on and hitting 10 sec in 1/4 mile hahahHAHA, really though. I'm going to stay with simple bolt on stuff and get the free tune from my buddy. I bought this car mainly to just enjoy it as is. It really is a fun ride the way it sits right now.

Everybody says something like that. But anyone who is "car guy" and modding in their blood, won't be able to keep their hands off the car. It's a hobby, an expensive one to say the least, but fun.
You'll enjoy it for awhile, then will want a little more and get Headers/catback/tune. That will keep you satisfied for awhile, but soon enough you'll be planning on your next purchase you can make for the car.
Take me for example... I first had N/a 2000 Green GT. Swapped to 100% bone stock black GTP I have now. Had ZERO interest in modding and appearance looks. Thought it was amazing when I first bought it, even when stock. After three years... Well, I'll let my Sig do the talking.
Keep it cheap and only do what you can when you can.
i've been spending money while i can. this year i bit off a bit more than i can chew and my bank account is hurting because of it.
however, a lot of what i've been doing is to 'fix' the car.
i miss the low low low prices of the 3800 scene
op be sure to check your front tires, stock 17s are prone to rubbing the factory struts up front, an easy way to fix it is 235 tires instead of 245's
I will check to see if they are rubbing, is that something to worry about even with stock suspension?
Yes, they can rub from factory, something gm should have recalled. Also remove your engine covers and check your fuel line, the gto engine covers tend to rub and rupture the fuel line causing your car to catch fire. A quick search on both of these issues will better explain
I removed my engine covers
It's the little things that matter man
