• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Junk I drive

I can see how bt would be sporadic about connecting. When you're new to something that doesn't work as it should, it makes finding the issue more difficult. If the thing continues to work (it did this morning) life is good. The software really isnt giving me old people fits, I've computed since DOS. Reckon I could do like most folks might and just toss the PCM in. But I want to confirm health first and need to learn that anyway.

nice and rich at idle lol mine stock used to say -15.

I had never seen it that high. Usually its around -7. This was just before shutdown, idling after the commute. With cruise on, the LT and ST balance out nice. I gotta research whether this means I'm a go for the boobatoon. Because I could swap that in on a lunch break lol

Did a CKP learn today at work with the Snap-On Solus tool and all is well. Had to nab the boost solenoid off the 40th engine also today though, it went bad yesterday. Replaced that and am enjoying the car plenty. :D

So you got to rev it to 4 grand

Flooring it in park is just weird... Wapapapapa! Something I did notice- a tech2 wants you to rev twice iirc, but yesterday as soon as she hit four grand it finished. What I had read prior said one rev goes to 4 grand and the next to 5 or 6. Glad it's done because I hate a SES light.

Sounds way better than those Hondas at the rev limiter lol. We have a solous ultra, just once to the rev limiter. Never used a tech 2 for that.

Back in my GM shop days, a tech friend using the Tech2 did it to my friend's 03 GT after a PCM and it took two stomps. It took longer than stomping it once, lol

Of course lol.

Man I just don't understand KR. I use Shell 91 gas and get 6-8 degrees. Sunoco 93 cuts that in half. Why am I driving a car built in 1999 thats designed for race gas? I was alive then... but I just don't understand. You would need aviation gas from 1965 or something for it, why would that even get built, much less be popular? I'm missing something big here...

Maybe its just time to go back to just the GT and the 69. Whadda you guys think I can get for the GTP? Almost 230K on it.

If I sold it for a dollar I wouldn't have lost anything because wrecks. But I'd be looking to rape somebody badly on it. In this area everything is priced at double value by GPF standards. Not sure if its the locals or the GPFers who are out of touch with reality. But the GPF price for my still nice and good running GTP gets you smashed Grand Ams with blown head gaskets around here.

Lol, it's kinda like that around here - but they're all rusted out by 200k. I sold mine for $2500, and by GPF standards it would probably be worth $1500. XD

93 isn't race gas. Hell 91 is rare to find around here. Its all 87, 89, and 93.

Did I say 93 was race gas? Give me a little credit. Here, 87, 89, 91 and thats it unless you throw in a couple more bucks a gallon. Race gas would be 104, in my mind. 87, 89, 93, and 98 is sold at Sunoco here. They had 104 at pumps until a year or two ago. Somehow I doubt even that would get rid of the KR.

If you supercharge a V8, you don't time it for 1 degree BTDC at WOT. I saw timing at 1 during a pull. Thats just ridiculous, boost or no.
