Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

JDrach's 98 Daytona - Snappin chains 4 days

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

The L67 flexplate is weighted for the heavier rods and pistons, so an N\A flex plate isn't weighted right. Will it work on an L67? yes. Is it the right way to do it? No. I personally do things the right way, the first time....or try to at least lol.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

So here's an idea: Get the stronger l36 flexplate balanced for an l67 and have a stronger, properly balanced setup.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

Or just run the l36 flex since I've never ever heard of a single person having any issues?

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

If you must, I'd get the L36 weighted for the L67, there's a thread somewhere on here. I wanna say it's a 30 gram weight, but don't hold me to it. Like I said, just cuz no one else has had issues doesn't mean I'd do it. I have bad luck so I don't take those risks, lol. I don't like rebuilding engines, and this type of thing impacts bearing life directly.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

It'd be pretty cheap to have a machine shop match the L36 plate to an L67. Take them an L67 plate and an L36 and say "Make this one balanced like that one, K thank love you bye" and that's it.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

Going to be mounting these up sometime this week.

I'm actually probably going to need tires come winter. Treads at like 50% so then would be a good time. Might do a gunmetal grey dip on them too

Both from dipyourcar.com? Honestly it's so hard to tell the difference between all the greys on Internet pictures with the shadows n crap.
