• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

It's 2010, let's move on...........

I think LOL has been adapted over the years as being able to express humor online.. Now some of the teenagers now a days that use abbreviations while talking such as BFF,LOL,LMAO,OMG thats ridiculous.

I agree with that! However I think saying the letters above is just as bad as texting and typing. The only one I think is ok is LOL. I hate TTYL.(talk to you later)

......What do tigers dream of when they take their little tiger snooze? Do they dream of mauling zebras, or Halle Berry in her Catwoman suit? Don't you worry your pretty striped head, we're gonna get you back to Tyson and your cozy tiger bed. And then we're gonna find our best friend Doug, and then we're gonna give him a best friend hug. Doug, Doug, oh, Doug, Dougie, Dougie, Doug, Doug! But if he's been murdered by crystal meth tweakers, well then we're **** out of luck.....

I hope 2010 brings another good movie!

^ what is that even from? i've never heard of it except for stupid people who put it as their facebook status

This whole abbreviated words thing is really getting tiresome. And the posters that insist on using the tired old "lol" in every other post:th_sign-lame:Do these people really laugh out loud all the time? Tell you what, how about actually typing out phrases and complete words for a change. You know, like you should have learned in school.Remember? Here's a few examples.....you are, not ur. probably, not prolly. people , not ppl. Get it?

Ok, I'll pipe in here and say that I agree. I read some of the posts and wonder what the heck people are saying with the "thumbing" talk. I don't function well in that world. I have to look up most abreviations because I can't understand what most people are saying.

On a side note, I refuse to thumb messages to my kids. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I have the ability to dial the numbers and hear their voices on the other end.

English works for me. The invention of the keyboard was incredible and I try to use it to form complete words in complete sentences.
