so some family friends also have a grand prix and supposedly its an 04 GTP but im skeptical..

That's a Comp G. yes it's a GTP. the rear valence you posted was a special edition package option. Also only HUD came in the 04-05 GTP, after that they dropped the GTP name and made GT2's which were supercharged GT's.
 
guy hes confusing GXP with GTP,

GXP has the fender vents, different wheels, seats, front/rear bumper..

GTP's look like any other 04+

the car could be topswapped and just have gtp badges. im skeptical about this being a true gtp too ive never seen one with those exhaust tips. but that doesnt really mean much lol

lol no? isnt that what this thread was all about? the guy is skeptical if its really a gtp. even if its supercharged doesnt mean it is it could be topswapped and have gtp badges put on it. thats all im sayin lol
 


Chrome rings Came on all 06+ cars
HUD is an option for all models besides base/gt1(04 only)
Supercharged 06-07 were gt's, and 08 was only base model and Gxp.
Gt's and gtp's had the same front and rear bumper.
The spo(?) package added different grills, quad tips, and a different spoiler.
 
my car is a base and was prewired for a HUD.. so explain?


For all we know this guy changed the car like we ALL do
 
Yes, they are all prewired, because gm put the harness in all cars. Doesn't mean it was an option to have it in the car...
