• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Is this a good deal.

Hello, so i found these

18" Verde rims 5x114.3

18" Verde Kaos wheels, which were painted black and only have one slight bend.. "5x115 18x8 38mm offset and has a 74.1mm bore"

He will trade me my ugly ass snowflake wheels in great cond. with goodyear tires, all have plenty of life.

His wheels need 3 tires but i would end up just buying 4 used tires.

They arent really the wheels i would choose, but theyre alot better than snowflakes.

Thanks

Something to consider, but i guess i could bend it back with a rubber mallet then get them balanced... ?

Well if it's aluminum it does not take to heat well, high possibility of cracking. It's not that easy you need to take it to a shop that can repair rims, but when you bend them you ma as well just scrap them.

No problem, just making sure you don't get ripped off, cause i had a set with a slight bend in it, at 40mph or so it would shake like crazy.

^if anything, take a ride in his car. make sure to go on the freeway! if all good, its up to you? the wheels u have now are pretty fugly tho.

and if he is selling them he will tell u they don't vibrate to get the sale. As mentioned if u can take a ride with him and see for urself if they vibrate. My 2cents worth is.....if one is bent it is for a reason, curb comes to mind, I would continue to look for others

Yeah that's probably a good idea, but here in maryland we usually dont get very much snow. Since i cant see for myself that they dont vibrate, becuase the tires are all worn out, i will just save up some and keep looking i guess.

Thanks
