Is there a trick to installing Strut Tower Braces?

Hey all, this will sound like a super noobish question but I cant for the life of me get my ZZP Strut Tower Brace installed. Ive put one wheel in the air, the other wheel in the air, both wheels, both wheels on the ground, nothin... I just cant get the holes to liine up to mount the brace?

Should I drill out the holes? I fear that may defeat the purpose of the brace but im not sure? Any insight would be great thanks!

When I got mine I had to stretch the holes a little by drilling the corners of the three holes to make em a little bigger. Also just start screwing one side n I took a rubber mallet to get the other side on. It seems like they wouldnt screw down flush n I thought they were backwards n all that, but really when you start screwing the screws they go down n flex n fit fine.

Thats what I was thinkin, I tried hammering it with a mallet and it just kept on popping off the other side. And I tried starting a few threads but could never get it to line up always off by just enough. Ill drill it out just wasnt sure if that was recommended or not.

Shouldn't be an issue, all 3 sets of theirs I've installed slipped right on with the car on the ground. Have you bent or twisted anything on the car ever?

Car is super straight, I think I just need to drill em out. I was just a little unsure about it cause well you would think a part such as this would be straight bolt on but it should be no surprise that is needs tweaks every now and then.

I just didnt want to drill em and then defeat the purpose of the brace in the first place. So far this is my first ZZP item that has been any kind of issue out of several items ive purchased. Overall I cant be too bummed with ZZP so far.

Every car is going to be different. They may base the measurements on a few cars but you may have an odd ball that's a quarter inch off and that's enough to not fit. So just drill a little bit, you aren't hurting anything
