• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Interesting.

Do you really want to be that guy who puts these on and finds out the valving is garbage?

You'll probably find your worn out bilsteins ride better/the same.

Ask bio about cheap coilovers.

I suppose. Someone else buy them then.

I mean realistically, if it came down to it, I guess one could buy different springs on Summit or something.

bet if you buy them, revalve them, and put better springs on them you'd have a better set of coilovers than you would have, for cheaper, than if you'd buy them from araut/HT/held.

This, springs are cheap, the revalving will probably be around $200 a set. Koni does rebuilds/revalving for $180 +parts

and i bet after being revalved you can probably get top of the line valving done and they'd be an awesome set of struts.

typically struts can be valved to handle a range of spring rates (say 6k-10k).

I still want my suspension to do it's job lol

This is so tempting. That's ideally what I would like to do. Springs are cheap enough.

Also, after looking at the thread below this one regarding coilovers, it looks like Drunkie suggests 200-300# springs. So, would new springs on these be necessary since they are 250#?
