• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Intercooler fill plastic piece

They call them GarLeak gaskets for a reason. Make your own gasket for $5 and then use Permatex gasket maker 26B. It's the best way to go in my experience.

On a switch. This is just my opinion. Run a single ground wire out through the firewall to the relay from your switch. That way if the wire rubs or chafes the default of the pump will be on. If you run a power wire and it chafes..the fuse blows and you have no pump until you fix the wire. It's better to make it come on if there is a problem than off.

So drove to work last night and came home without a single code and i checked multiple times. So my custom stock gasket works well. Thank GM for their terrific gaskets.

So my ltfts are still at 16.4 and im still gettin the vacuum code. Just went back around the engine and both gaskets with carb spray and there was no change in the engines rpm. Here are all the codes that showed on my aeroforce.

p0107
p0171
p0530
p1107

The 107 & 1107 may have been because i removed the map plug will the car was running to check if it was bad.

107 is map.. Max had that the other night. Which is the only reason I remember it.

Soooo your Garleak is stlll leaking. Your EGR hole is blocked by the core, right?

are you sure you didnt crack a plastic vac line during install?

you should be using a thin layer of rtv sealing on both sides of the gasket.

or maybe you need a new o2 sensor.

oh and you have to go through so many ignition cycles before the pcm checks for the codes.

Typical failure of an O2 is to run the car super rich. Or if the heater fails etc etc... those toss codes. But since it's not tossing an O2 code. The info and typicals point to other stuff.

Since he just put a Garleak gasket on... yeah ...it's the most likely.

Yes i blocked both egr holes and got rid of the garloc gaskets for stock oem modded gaskets with proper drilled holes and they still leaked and showed the code. Went to autozone and got another gasket and put it on and this time cleaned the manifold and core real good and used gasket remover on them. But for this gasket, i didnt put a piece of cut gasket over one of the lim holes by the snout.

This hole....

Drove the car around the neighborhood and the code hasnt popped up yet.
