should i get a short ram air intake induction kit or a chrome air intake induction kit for my car. the short ram intake kit says increase of 7-13 hp and chrome intake says increase of 5-15 please tell me which one is better
 


no intake alone will give you even 5 hp. just make one on your own, with tubing 3.75-4 inches thick. lots of people make their own, its incredibly easy. where the hell did you even find those 2 intakes, ebay?
 
depending upon what you have done, you might get a 5-10 hp increase, but its doubtful that you will. like he said, make your own intake for like $50.
 
dont buy any of the intakes off of ebay........they are junk. Make your own or find a GOOD intake to put on there.
 
yea i found them on ebay theyre like $50 so i would rather buy one then make one. but you said theyre crappy so idk anymore. can u tell me where i can find a good air intake system?
 
Make your own...did he not say that? It's easy.

The ones on ebay have a very small pipe and look restrictive to me. They also suck warm air from inside the engine compartment, so how can they be a cold air intake? If you want more advice if you HAVE to buy one, let us know...
