Installing upper poly motor mounts?

Sawzll or something to cut that rubber out of there. There pressed in there pretty good. Now you know why the new ones are 2-peice.

Blowfish is just weak...A real man can pull them out with his bare hands....LOL

is it difficult to but stockers back in? im tired of the vibrations my upper mounts are giving me so i want to put the stockers back in. my friend put my polys in and i wasnt there to watch.

I imagine it would be very hard. That is if you didn't destroy them when you ( or whoever ) was taking them out.

i was just going to buy some brand new stock mounts. hopefully they arent too hard to put back in.

The easiest way to get the stock one out that I have found is to put the assembly in a vise and drive a sharp gasket scraper through the two solid portions of the mount along the aluminum center. I just used a few blows from a dead blow mallet to drive it through the rubber. Once both sides are cut, the aluminum center will pop right out. Then the remaining outer piece of rubber can be easily pryed out of the assembly with a screwdriver.

I did the exact same with mine, works great and easy too!

I know this thread is old but me and my dad just put the bolt back through then gripped the bolt with vicegrips and pulled that sucker out
