i already know about the engine. but with everything else like the front and back bumper. would they bolt right up? i have a 2004 gtp right now. also is the speedo plug and play?? the dic is slightly different because it has the tire pressure levels of the tires and the max g-force ratings in a menu also.
i think thats most of it. cant think of anything else the gxp offers. except the seats and stuff which i know will bolt in..

but the big thing is the dic and the speedo for the inside if those would work

you gatta change the two front fenders with the bumper or u get a knarly gap. gauges are the same i beleive....why would u want to v8 swap it? sounds like a ton of cash for not a lot of reward

Yeah, the extra 50 horse gained from doing a full on motor swap and the pains that come with it are not worth it.
Only viable thing I could see would be a body swap, if you liked they way they look better or something. As I said though, fenders are different, so fenders have to be swapped along with bumpers.

For Front Bumper, you need the fenders and side skirts, everyone forgets that part

Rear bumper just bolts in.

Speedo drops right in no problem. I converted the inside of my 04 basically to everything a GXP has on the inside

Not if you build the LS4 before dropping it in.

LS6 Intake manifold and TB, 1.8 Rockers, Headers. might be work it then.

or cam it.

You can put half that money into your 3800 and go tons faster.

Just sayin'...LS4 isn't that great of a platform...

if i were u i would just do the body swap and keep the 3800 in it and just drop pully size do headers and a tune with some rockers you will prob be faster then the gxp

you will be faster....very much faster. i wanna eventually do the body swap. and you can that ls4 all you want...then detonate more expensive trannys instead of just building the 3800 and detonating less expensive trannys

thats why i said everything besides the motor swap i want to know about lol. so the 160mph gauges will work with the gtp pcm and stuff? along with the dic with added functions?? those are the 2 big things for the interior i was wondering.

just trying to get some info on body swap and interior guys. thanks for the help so far.

Intercooler, injectors, headers, pulley, tune, intake.

BAM.

12's.

Faster than any GXP out there for the most part...plus, I don't care much for the body of the GXP either...you need to drop your car with some 20's and it would look AWESOME. Black wheels with a polished lip...but that's just me.

Speedo is plug and play ^ have one in my gtp. For the front you would need the front end, both front panels and rocker panels.

I saw one on morad a few weeks ago for like $60. I REALLY wish I would've jumped on it because new ones are like $170, and even most used ones are around $160ish.

Also, question about the g-force menu. If you just hook up a stock yaw sensor to the DIC would it recognize it and function as a GXP DIC? I ask this because I have the 5 button DIC and it appears to be the same.
