I just bought my GTP but already want to mod it. I have a friend that just sold his ssei to his mom and she wants it back to stock so i may be able to swap some of my stock parts for his upgraded parts. He has speed daddy headers (he paid $200), a ported sc that he just rebuilt, a 3.7 pulley (he paid $100), colder plugs, full stainless steel exhaust with high flow cats (he paid around $300). Everything has around 10,000 miles on it. He said he'd cut me a deal on everything but has yet to set a price but said he has $750 in it all.

My question to you all is will the exhaust work on my 98? and what should i offer him for it all? He said that he ran a 14 sec 1/4 with it on his ssei without a tune and said it should put me in the 12's. I'm not so sure i'd be that fast though.

Ya, HBody exhaust is different AFAIK...as for a 3.7" pulley, headers, ported M90, and a tune...your going to get lucky to get low 14's...
 
3.7 is almost useless. get and intake, tune, a 3.4, the headers and ported s/c, and you will be low 14's/high 13's i'd guess.
