ideas for engine

i have a 2002 3.1L v6 i have been thinking if i should swap to 3.8 supercharged engine or try my best to modify the 3.1L?

Sure but putting a 5.3 in one has been done. Even a 4.6 Northstar in a GP has been done as well as a 5 speed manual trans.
