• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I would like some opinions here....

What do you all think of these rims on a white GT? I want something easy to cleanand low maintenance, but still looks good. I'm not too big on chrome for this car because it is very expensive and pretty high maintenance. There's a way to veiw the rims on the car in the website. Any opinions or suggestions for substitutes would be appreciated.

i like them! get them in 18's!

I'd love to get the 18s but tires are a little more expensive. I was thinking about the 17s. I can get a good set of BFG 225/55 R17s for 90 a piece. it would be about 975$ shipped with tires included. Thanks for the input boosting98. It is much appreciated.

come on people, more opinions.

like the wheels should look good on white but id look for fatter tires 225 seems skinny ive got 255's on stock 16's with no problems.

Those will look very nice! Not too flashy, but not stock for sure. I really like how those! What really gets me is the fact that they don't look cheap! Which is HUGE on Grand Prix's!

They will look good on white. There is a silver grand prix on here that has the same wheels. I would go 18's. 17's still look to small on these cars.

i like them but agree with the 18's and fatter tires. sidebar - how low profile of a tire would you have to get with 18 inch rims to not raise the car?

of course you are gettting rid of those stupid looking wire ralley things, whatever you get will be an improvement

You definitely made a solid cost effective choice imo. Another aspect of those rims is they are light weight, a definite bonus.:th_thumbsup-wink: I have been eying up a set of Moda MD6 with some Goodyear Eagle GT rubber. :th_dancingbanana:

nah, go wider than 225

Whoops, I should've said 245/40/18. Thats what I've got.

I wanna sidetrack a bit; Has anyone had problems with low profile tires damaging their CD players? (too much vibration & shaking) Mine went poop goin down dirt roads w/ these tires on a lowered GTP.

there ya go. and i had some problems with that in my truck, the ground actually came apart and it would cut out at louder volumes because it wouldn't complete the circuit. you might want to look into that
